Sail Away!

Hello! I haven't posted in several weeks, as my sister was visiting from Georgia for 2 weeks, so I was enjoying her company...then, it was a little hard to get my mojo moving again but I think I'm in the swing of things. I purchased a retired PSX Schooner stamp on Ebay a few months ago, and had yet to ink it up and create with it. So, once I had the image colored, my mojo kicked back in and I got caught up in the nautical flavor of the card.

Below, is the card interior with coordinating papers and design. I thought I'd use a scripture stamp from Verve for the interior sentiment, making a nice masculine card for encouragement.

Okay, Here's the Deets:
Stamps: PSX "Schooner", Verve Scripture Psalm 46:1, Clear Dollar Stamps' "Smooth Sailing" anchor
Papers: Maja Designs "Life By the Sea", Authentique "Anchored", ColorMates Dark Berry Red Cardstock, Paper Trey Ink White Cardstock
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Nautical Blue & Rhubarb Stalk
Tools: Spellbinders' Rectangle Die, Sewing Machine, Thread, Adhesives, Signo White Gel Pen
Copic Sketch Markers: R14 Light Rouge, B000 Pale Porcelain Blue, B00 Frost Blue, B14 Light Blue, B41 Powder Blue, E09 Burnt Sienna, E25 Caribe Cocoa, 27 Africano, E31 Brick Beige, B34 Orientale, C1 & C2 Cool Grays, 0 Colorless Blender
Accessories: Little B Adhesive Anchor, The Twinery Baker's Twine
Techniques: Stamping, Copic Coloring & Machine Stitching

Thanks for visiting! I always love to hear your thoughts and comments...
